"YULONOMY" is an interactive sound sculpture that breaks the passive interaction relationship between viewer and artwork. The viewers and listeners are made into conductors and are invited to activate a fluctuating sound system. YULONOMY is sonically powered by a CD player containing manipulated field recording samples and membrane reeds. By pressing the accordion air pumps, which are connected to the membrane reeds, the sound travels through to the microphone, which is then transmitted to a mixer and ultimately routed to a pair of headphones and or amplified, allowing you to hear the effect in real time.
